This Is Me

I was born and brought up in Medina, Saudi Arabia, in a big family with my mom, dad, six sisters, two brothers, and my beloved grandma.
We’re from the northern region of Pakistan, specifically from Abbottabad.

My childhood was simple, and as one of the older millennials, I didn’t have the luxury of playing with cellphones or nowadays' games that much!

Yeah, those were the days!

I would often go to the rooftop, lie on the floor, and gaze up at the blue sky, creating shapes out of the passing clouds.

Those summers were more than lazy; they were delightful and easy, filled with serendipitous moments of joy.
Amazing, right?

Since my early years, I developed a unique relationship with words and letters. I’ve always been fascinated by learning languages and immersing myself in different cultures and cuisines.

Nonetheless, I created my own circle of friends and cherished my school days.

University life began, and I majored in English, driven by my passion for the language.

I devoured books, engaged in group chats, and formed online friendships to improve my English skills. However, the pressure to excel led to a breakdown.

I learned to embrace my progress, and my enthusiasm pushed me forward. This is a pretty short story about my life…

Oh, and I forgot to introduce my name: I am Abeda Mughal… or Abbie like some of my dear friends call me. Or probably just a writer in progress.
Well, that’s me in a nutshell!
